Root Canals

A poorly decayed or infected tooth will need a root canal treatment. The interior part of the teeth is cleaned and the nerve & pulp are removed. The nerve lies in the roots and canals are located in the pulp chambers.

When the pulp or nerve tissue gets damaged or infected, the bacteria grow inside the pulp chamber. Any damage in the root of the teeth results in loss of bone at the tooth tip and the formation of a hole in the side of the tooth.

Procedure of root canal treatment:

The patient needs to get appointments with the dentist. The first process of Anna Lisa Smile in the root canal (RC) treatment is to take an X-ray of the root canal. Therefore, the dentist can examine the damage or infection in the pulp. The next process is to place the rubber dam to block the saliva secretion to the damaged area. The dentists drill a hole into the teeth, so that the pulp and debris with the bacteria can be pulled. The water and sodium hypochlorite is used to clean the debris. The sealing is placed when the tooth is cleaned.

The indications of root canal treatment are toothache when eating and tooth discoloration. Root canal treatment is painful. The tooth replacement, dental implantation and dentures take more money and time.
